‘Getting off the ground’ with dental implants

Issued: Wednesday, 19 June 2013

Dental technicians who are interested in working with implants can learn about the fundamentals of the ANKYLOS® system on two courses this autumn.  Presented by Steve Taylor, the content is designed to give delegates an understanding of the components and laboratory procedures.  Training takes place at Taylor Dental Technology Centre, Lancashire.  Full details can be found on the DENTSPLY Implants education website

Bill Winn of Winn Dental Ceramics, Corbridge, Northumberland, found the training gave him, “an excellent foundation for getting off the ground in the implant field and the assurance to do so.”

According to Terry Day of Orrodent, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, “Steve gave an easy-to-understand presentation of the basics of implant laboratory procedures and how they dovetail with the surgical side."

Steve Taylor has presented numerous courses to both technicians and clinicians, covering a range of subjects including occlusion, ceramics and dental implants.  With a deserved reputation for expertise in dental implants, the Taylor Dental Technology Centre uses and teaches state-of-the-art dental technology.
